I was diagnosed with stage 1c TNBC in June of 2017 at age 42. I also carry an NBN gene mutation. I have three young children and a very supportive husband and family. My previous life I worked as a chemist, but now am happy to be at home with my kids. I’m an avid quilter and longarmer, cook, archer, and hiker. I am also a Master Watershed Steward through Penn State Extension. Living in a somewhat rural area, I don’t get the chance to connect with others in situations like mine. So, I am very excited to meet new people who understand that everyone’s path on this journey is different, but that share a goal of living a fulfilling healthy life.
